Jhanvi was born on 7 March 1997 in Mumbai, Maharastra, India. The father name of Jhanvi is Boney Kapoor and he is a renowned Bollywood Filmmaker. A great Indian film actress Sridevi is the mother of Janhvi. Both mother and father of Jhanvi are from Film industry because of it said that Jhanvi is born with a silver spoon. At that time the film Judaai is released and Urmila Matondkar perform a role in this film as Jhanvi, on this character of Urmila Matondkar, Sridevi gives her daughter name Jhanvi. She received the training in acting from a renewed film institute in the USA named The Lee Strasberg Theater & Films institute along with Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. From the same institute,e Ranbir Kapoor also received training.
