Chris Pratt was born on June 21, 1979, an American actor. He is known for his television roles as Harold Brighton “Bright” Abbott in the series Everwood, Ché in The O.C. (2003), and Andy Dwyer and Parks and Recreation (2009), a role which garnered him a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2013.
Chris then went on to achieve the leading man status after starring in 2 commercially successful films in 2014: The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, continuing on with The Magnificent Seven and Passengers. The following year, he starred in Jurassic World, his most financially successful film to date.

Early Life and career
Chris and his family moved to Lake Stevens, Washington, and Pratt eventually did a small amount of acting in plays and at a dinner theater. He moved to Maui, Hawaii at one point and was working as a waiter at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company when he met actress and director Rae Dawn Chong. She liked his look and energy and cast him in the 2000 short film Cursed Part 3. This opened the door for Pratt to pursue more acting work, and he landed a role in 2002 in the series Everwood as athlete Bright Abbott, remaining with the show until its 2006 ending.

The unparalleled success of ‘Jurassic World’ led to the making of its sequel which is slated for a June 2018 release. Pratt is to reprise the role of Owen Grady.

He had two releases for the 2016 calendar year: as gambler Josh Faraday, in the remake of the 1960 Western ‘The Magnificent Seven’ and as Jim Preston in ‘Passengers.’

Chris first met actress Anna Faris in 2007 on the set of ‘Take Me Home Tonight.’ In the film, she played his love interest. The two soon hit it off on a personal scale as well and got engaged the following year in 2008.

In 2009, Pratt and Faris tied the nuptial knot in Bali. They welcomed their first child, a son, Jack, in August 2012.
