Avril Lavigne was born on September,27, 1984 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. She was named “Avril” by her father after the French word for the month of April. Her ancestry is French-Canadian, Polish, English, Irish, and Scottish. Avril has an older brother, Matthew, and a younger sister, Michelle.
She never enjoyed being in school. She was also kicked out sometimes for misbehaving. She dropped out of high school after the 11th grade when she secured a record deal. She was interested in music since her childhood. She learned to play guitar in her childhood. Avril started her debut album name Let Go in 2002. Avril’s “Complicated” reached number 1 in several countries worldwide and made her youngest pop star.

Avril is dating Phillip Sarofim. Avril has announced her first North American tour in five years. Her “Head Above Water” tour will run for 15 dates, kicking off in Seattle on September 14 and wrapping up on October 11 in Philadelphia. Avril Lavigne’s sixth studio album Head Above Water was released on February 15, 2019. The album reached the top ten in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and peaked at number thirteen on the U.S. Billboard 200.
