Early Life and Career:

Choi Hyun-wook grew up in South Korea dreaming of becoming a professional baseball player. A dedicated athlete, he was passionate about the sport from a young age. However, his dreams came to a halt when he suffered a shoulder injury in high school that forced him to reconsider his future. He began studying performance at Hanlim Multi Arts School and landed his debut role in the 2019 web drama Real:Time:Love. His boyish good looks and sincerity on screen quickly made him a fan favorite.

Over the next few years, he built up his acting repertoire with a steady stream of strong roles. In 2021, he appeared in Taxi Driver and then stole hearts in Racket Boys as a lovable, emotional teen. However, it was Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2022) that catapulted him to fame. His character, Moon Ji-woong, was quirky, stylish, and full of life — a performance that left a lasting impression on audiences.
